Last week, my colleague Barbara Boland posted about Sen. Harry Reid’s apparent amnesia when he said that the Obamacare horror stories are lies.

“There’s plenty of horror stories being told. All of them are untrue, but they’re being told all over America,” said the Senate Majority Leader on February 26, calling them “lies distorted by Republicans.”   But, last week, Reid said, ”Mr. President, the junior senator from Wyoming has come to the floor several times recently talking about the fact that examples that he and others Republicans have given dealing with ObamaCare, examples that are bad, I’ve called lies. Mr. President, that is simply untrue.” Well, MRCTV has it on video, courtesy of C-SPAN.

Then, last Wednesday, Reid said, “Obamacare, if you do a poll of anyone, that’s dropped way down in significance.”

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) went on the Mike Gallagher Show and mocked Reid’s remarks, saying “I didn’t think Mormons used drugs.” “I think the longer you stay in Congress, the more detached you come from reality,” Rep. Gowdy added.
